I just received an email for a 1k CLI on my 5k SPG. A few months ago I requested a CLI on my AMEX BCP and it triggered the 4506T, so I believe I am pretty close to the threshold anyways (didnt submit the 4506T and dont want to).
Does an auto-CLI negate my ablity to request a 60/181 day CLI?

Haven't posted here in a long time since my credit score is now very good. Just wanted to add to the CLI metadata.
Was approved for my AMEX ED in July of 2014 with a limit of $5000. Received an auto CLI in March of 2015 to $9800. Received another auto CLI this past Sunday (11/1/2015) to $12,800.
Out of sheer curiosity I requested a credit limit increase via website for 2x my current limit ($25,600) and was instantly approved!
I'm laughing becuase I can't believe I went from $9800 to $25,600 in a matter of days.
I was aware of the 3x CLI method but I didn't realize you could request a CLI after receiving an automatic increase.
I've read random posts from this thread and I just started reading from the beginning straight through. I, up to page 147. I haven't seen the answer for this yet. If requesting an increase and denied, I know you must wait 90 days. If I request an increase before the 90 days does that reset the 90 day clock or does it continue from the original denial. I've gotten various answers from Amex reps. Even different answers from the Credit increase department themselves. I need an answer. This is driving me crazy.
Thanks. Right before I read this j asked the very question.
You can still request an increase after an auto cli. The 6 mins refers to if you were granted an increase after you requested one
You sound like me. Any success?
