If you need the revolving for rebuilding, you might consider getting a family member to request adding you as an authorized user on an account of theirs that has a good history.

+1000 Dont load up on store cards. You will regret it if you do. If you can't get an AU on an established card, grab a secured or two. BOA for sure!

The regret part is for getting single store use cards with low limits or because people get 5 or more, and then try to get better cards and the lender see all those cards and many times deny the credit or approve with low limit also?

NIXON: I don't get how AU is better than having a couple of store cards when the banks who take AU history vary(I'd venture to say, are small), vs having your own accounts; preferably without a hard pull (via shopping cart) which banks will have to acknowledge?
