2 CLIs and Closing 2 accounts.

[ Edited ]

I was so tired of having a Walmart card and a Sams card. I realize they would grow with me but it's no use because I cannot use these cards. I use my Discover at Sams and I use my PenFed Visa at walmart and get 3 points per dollar.  Anyway I closed both of those.

And now to the exciting part:

I requested a CLI on my Chevron Visa and went from 1500 to 2000

I then requested a CLI on my BOA mastercard I put in that I wanted to go to 1000 from 600, did not want to be greedy, approved. I should have requested more, I'm kicking myself now.

Amex BCE $18,000 | BofA Power Rewards WMC $25,000 | Chase Freedom VS $15,000 | Chase IHG $1,000 | Discover It $7,900 | Local CU Visa $3,500 | PenFed Platinum Rewards VS $9,500 | Saks Store Card $3,000 | Saks WEMC $8,000

Dont know if that was a smart move since I have heard that its better to keep cards that have no AF open since they do help UTL. But in yor case seems like you werent grant any cli. Did you ever request one via love button? Or even call GE Solutions? What were their CL'S?

UTL doesn't matter to me becuase I never carry a balance. And yes they did grant Cli's on both cards walmart went from 700 to 850, and sams went from 800 to 3300. I just closed them because since i've gotten them, i've only use the sams card once, and never used the walmart card.
