Oh i see. Congrats op! I also dont care about AFs. This year i started with around 4600 and 3 cards to what you see now in my siggy. I opened my barclays on 10/11 and they seen all my new accounts and called me to warn me but they didnt close my account or lowered my cl.
WOW congrats. I am curious to know your fico scores and also annual income
I could really appreciate your persistant and hard work, congrats for that!! You'll done in 1 year most people can't do in 5. I guess we all have alot to learn from each other. My credit was in bad shape and currently I'm in the re-building process and yes it's a very long process and it seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel but for little that I've have done so far, I noticed a big difference in my score. That's my game plan for 2013 to have a clean slate and be where your at. Also to established that I guess you would need money and alot of time. This forum as been a big help so far and thank you everyone.

+1
Yes, Big Thank you to every one!
Well DONE!!
I had a similar story. Started fall of 2011 with not-so-good scores in low 600s, lots of baddies and no credit cards. I got two right away with $1000 (cap1 plat) and $1500 (citi) limits...now $1500 and $2500...and have added 2 loans, a rental mortgage and 5 additional cards in 2012 for a total of over $70k in credit card limits. Hard to say exactly because of my Plum Card. I peaked in upper 700s on all three scores during the summer before going on an app spree. Now, I am holding steady in the mid 700s waiting for inquiries to fall off and AAoA to take effect.
I used Lexington Law to get a lot of the baddies off over a few months. Some I handled myself. How did you go about it?
I also used a lawyer to remove the majority of collection accounts. The final few accounts I did myself.
That's great. I considered the DIY angle on the disputes but I thought paying someone was worth it. My income, like yours, is high enough to pay for the service without any troubles.
The wife also came in handy for me. When she made me an authorized user on her oldest card (2001), my score skyrocketed. That was a big help.

Income is close to 50k. Last month scores were TU 693 EX 679 and EQ 682. But got a CO from a joint account deleted so im expecting a big score jump this month.
Cool! Thats awesome. Keep us updated once the score jumps!
In a word....IMPRESSIVE!
