So I can put my platinum spade back in the shed, for some reason I felt compelled to app for the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred as the 6% grocery category will really benefit our family of 6.

Happy to say that I got instant approved for $2k and got backdated to 2012. AMEX EX FICO 8 is showing 680. I know this card has the potential to grow @ 61 days from now.

Congrats on the approval. I thought Amex stopped backdating accounts last year> Are you sure it is actually backdated, or is it just the Member Since on the card you are referring to?

Mine didnt backdate. Only the card shows member since 15 but i got the card in 16 and my CR showes the opendate of 16. Wish they still backdated.

Hmm that's what happens when you're in the garden for 1+ year and stop keeping up on things. That stinks.
