I applied over the phone, since the online app through the AMEX website wouldn't work. The very nice rep instantly approved me for $12,900.00 @ 14.99 APR after the first 15 months( which are at 0% through Aug., 2015). Got the card in today's mail. It's quite attractive; I wasn't expecting it to be translucent nor was I expecting chip and pin technology. I've added it to my AMEX online account, and can flip back and forth between this card and the Unicorn. I still don't understand how my Zync MRE points will work with the MR points I'll accumulate through this card. It looks to me like I only have the one MR account.
AMEX also sent me my FICO score they used in determining my limit and APR. FICO= 816 through Experian. Don't know how that equated a 14.99 % instead of the 12.99% that is their lowest APR. Oh well, I have a few months to ponder that til it kicks in.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.

Did you get a PIN with that chip + PIN?
WTG! Nice score, nice starting CL, woohoo on keeping your Unicorn
Yeah, the PIN mailer arrived the day before the card did. I first thought "I'm used to getting these PIN things a few days AFTER I get my card....has it been stolen out of the mail?" Nope, just got it a day early.
Congrats!

Wow, congrats on the sweet card with PIN technology! Not many major issuers that I know of are doing this with their chip cards.

Grats The 816 is most likely a bankcard score which goes to 900 and not the normal 850.
