After getting instantly declined for a Green Card in January, with First Premier being removed from my Experian today, I took a leap of faith and applied for the Gold Card and was instanly approved. I was nervous because I really didn't have a clue if I would be approved because I still have 3 baddies on my credit.
1 - Shell/Citibank Gas Card that went 30 and 60 days late once in 2010 but was caught up and closed in 2013 in good standing
2 - Alaska USA Repo/Charge off (unpaid) from 6 years ago that falls off next Feb
3 - Ironically, 30/60/90 day lates from AMEX when I lost my job in 2013 with the last late being in 2013.
But now that I'm back on the team, after a year, I will try to goodwill the crap out of em...lol. Well, wait for FPB to fall off my Tranunion and then it is on to the last one.
