Recently applied for the Alaska CC and was instantly approved. Two questions:

1) How long does it take from instant approval to card-in-hand?

2) How quickly are the 30k promotional miles applied to your account after meeting initial purchase requirements?

1.  Mine took about a week

2. Fairly quickly after statement issue reflecting the spend being met.

I have had several. Got the cards 7-10 days. Bonus was applied on the first statement that cut after I met spend requirement

They are pretty quick with updating. Once I got my 30,000, I booked my free ticket to Hawaii!! Love the card and the miles and companion fare are really valuable, especially if you live in an expensive to get to and from place!! Enjoy the card!!
