AmEx CLI yay, Cap1 CLI nay

Today marked 6 months since my last increase on each of these cards, so I requested CLIs for each.

I asked AmEx to increase the CL on my BCE from 10k to 15k....instant approval. I now have $30k in credit with AmEx. I guess they like me!

I asked Cap 1 to increase the CL on my Quicksilver....they don't let you specify an amount. I got a message saying they'd send me a letter, so, probably a denial. Which is fine, I only use the card once or twice a year and I'm toying with the idea of closing it even though it's my second-oldest credit line. I'm undecided though.

I'll be eligible to ask for APR reductions for AmEx, Cap 1, and Discover next week, so that's what I'm looking forward to next!
