I was feeling a little awesome after my NFCU approvals so I apped for the Amazon store card (Synchrony)...nervous....stomach churning...
Instant approval for $1,000!
I'll have to make my way to the garden until late Nov-Dec when I go for my Disney Chase.
I know some poo-poo this card but I think it's ok for me because:
1. I did lots of research beforehand
2. I felt pretty good about being approved based on what the research showed
3. I had a clean TU report for INQs and I don't have a card in my wish list that will pull TU
4. I will actually use this card
5. This is my first Synchrony card and the only one I really want other than Crate & Barrel which I felt was out of my league right now
I'm feeling pretty good about this whole credit thing. I have a long way to go but I'm finally starting to think the whole credit world isn't against me, which I know anyone who's rebuilding will understand. Now I can go to the garden voluntarily because I choose to and not have to slink around in that other less desirable garden of necessity because no one would touch me. Ahhhhh.
