Was kinda expecting to get declined. Have way too many inquiries. More than I've ever had. Definitely glad to finally be in the Amex family. Hell, I wouldv'e been happy with a 300Cl.
How many inquiries do you have? I had applied for a car loan in April and the dealership put like 20 inquiries on my report! I thought they all counted as one
It was all within a week of each other.
I was originally approved through the Capital One blank check deal, but the interest rate was 11% for a used vehicle. The chevy dealer swore they'd pull my credit report once, but the next day I got eight alerts where they pulled my credit. (sounds like I got lucky compared to you) Definitely wasn't happy. The good part was they got me a 7% interest rate through Wells Fargo on a 2012 Silverado.
In the last two years I probably have close to 15-18 inquries.
