I had to call the number on the back of my Amex BCP today because when I went online to Profile Preferences > Account Mangagement - there was no "Increase Credit Limit" button. The button, as others have said, seems to appear and disappear. I was worried that since it wasn't there I wouldn't be eligible for an increase, but I decided to call and talk with a rep anyway. I think there is an automated CLI system over the phone as well as online, but I didn't go searching for the number. I spoke with a rep who asked for the increase amount I was looking for, and then income.
I asked for $25,000 limit ($16,000 increase), with stated income of $52k. I was approved for a partial line increase totalling $20,600 ($11,600 increase).
I'm happy with that increase. It is now my highest card limit (almost double my USAA Amex). Best of all, since it's a soft pull on credit I didn't have to leave the garden to do it!
By the way, here's my statement balances for the past few months, always paying in full each month.

Congrats !!
My 6 months mark is coming up in 2 weeks on my BCE. I'm currently at $20K. I'll try for higher.
Congrats!!!
Congrats!!!
Did you have a time frame that you let the balance sit before paying ? or it was random ?

Thanks. I would generally let the statement cut, then pay sometime within the first two weeks of receiving the statement. A few times I paid closer to the due date.
