Amex Blue Cash and Amex Blue Sky

Applied for the AMEX Blue Cash on 12/28 and got an instant approval with $2,000.
Decided to test my luck with the Blue Sky, was going to go for the Delta card but couldn't justify the annual fee, application was in review.

Called them up just now and was able to get the Blue Sky pushed through with $6,500!
First card over 5,000!

I thank every single person on this board for sharing their knowledge!
Elated to say the least.

What should be my next moves? I'm thinking gardening.
Should I request the 61st day CLI on the Cash or Sky?

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your approvals.  I would go for the BCE first and then in 6 mos, do the Blue Sky.

Re: Amex Blue Cash and Amex Blue Sky

Thanks for the warm welcome. I was thinking of requesting it on the BCE to get it "up to speed" with the Blue Sky.
What are my chances of getting the promotional offer (7,500 points) that come with Blue Sky even though I am, technically, an existing cardholder.

Congrats WTG

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Amex Blue Cash and Amex Blue Sky

I did, both apps were done from my iPhone, since they were both done during times of extreme boredom while laying in bed. Haha!
I really hope I am able to take advantage of the points.
Am I able to transfer the 2,000 from BCE to this card and use it as my main card? I have too many cash back cards already.
