I was originally approved for a CL of $5,000, and I've put about $1,500 in spend through the card since approval. All paid in full, most before statement close.
Applied for full $15k ($10k increase) today. Amex countered with $9,300, which I accepted.
I was expecting a bit more (thought $12k was likely), but I suppose I'm still fairly new to Amex. Oh well.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Grats on youyr CLI OP
congrats!!!
Congrats! Did you ever let balance report at all?

Yes---intentionally. I did like $800 in spend the first month, then paid $775 and let $25 report. I had heard that Amex sometimes took multiple cycles before reporting to CRAs, but reporting a balance could make Amex create the new tradeline sooner. Amex did end up reporting for me in the first month.
(Oh, and I was also approved for a HHonors card and a PRG the same week as my ED. I put $800 in spend through the HHonors and $1,200 through the PRG. All paid in full, but with small balances one month as described above.)

@Anonymous, just seeing what spending habits I should keep with it. The only card I keep a balance on is my Freedom but as for now most of my cards are @ 0%. I guess I will probably pif the amex except a few $$ each month. Thanks!
Congrats! And in 6 months you can do it all again.
9,300 is nothing to sneeze at!! Congrats!
I think that's still a big success. Congrats!
