Amex Green Approval???!!!

I have wanted an Amex for quite some time. I have been working to get my scores up and have had significant success with getting negative items removed (most recently some old student loan trade lines were deleted), but felt I should wait a while before applying. Last night I finally applied, and to my surprise I was approved. Immediately approved! I was shocked. As you can see below, my scores are not all that great (still a work in progress), but I have been following the advice on this site and it has paid off in a big way! Now I am wondering if they will backdate my card to the date I received my corporate card. I hope so!

Starting Score: September 2013 - EQ 548 EX 610 TU 555
Current Score: October 2014 - EQ 674 EX 671 TU 704
Goal Score: all scores 700

Congrats on the instant approval! I'm not 100% sure but I think it's possible to get it back dated. It's worth a shot calling. Thanks for sharing.

Everything i've read on here says No.. because it is a corporate account, not your personal. YMMV. but it would be awesome if they did! Congrats and GL!

Congrats on Green approval! As far as backdating to corp MSD, it's very much YMMV. Some have done it, some couldn't, so it might just depend on who you get when you call in.
