Re: Amex Recon success

This is dead but I'm in underwriting for a recon on an Amex BCE card right now. They told me to call back in a few days to see if it had been accepted.

OP, what was the Credit Limit on the card?

OP made a promise three years ago, and then disappeared....

makes one think twice about reconing AMEX, no? (cue the spooky music...)

Re: Amex Recon success

LOL on the above post. Good news! Got an email today saying I was approved for the Amex Everyday Card, not the BCE but that's ok because atlest I can now establish a good relationship with Amex and build from here. I called to get the starting CL and he said it's only $500 which is my lowest limit, and even he admitted that was low, but said to call back after 60 days of activation and I should be able to get my CL increased no problem as long as the account is in good standing. Sweet!
