After being depressed for years about the state of my credit, I stumbled across these boards one day and finally decided to face my issues head on. For my 30th birthday this year, I committed to reading everything I could and putting it all to use - today, it finally paid off!

Also, for anyone who might be starting out on their credit journey. Please look into Capital One, I'm so grateful as they not only gave me my first card in this rebuild, but CLIed me to 7,500 after just a few months. I'm assuming that's what Discover then used to determine their limit!
