Application Spree 08/04/2014

        So I had a really great spree today and tons of inquiries added to my credit reports BUT it was worth it. Below are the cards that I applied for and the results:

            * All Credit Pulls done from the State of Florida.

            Approvals:

        1. Walmart Discover -- Approved for $1800.00

        2.  Chase Freedom -- Approved for $1200.00 (Experian Card Acquisition Risk Score@ 08/04/2014 - 691/900 from mailed packet)

             * Key factors: length of time since the oldest credit card established, number of requests for new credit in the past 6 months, number of requests for new credit,

                total available credit on credit cards

                No Third Party credit reporting agency pulled. (Chex/ARS/IDA/etc)

        3. Discover it -- Approved for $2000.00 (Experian FICO Score@ 08/04/2014 - 703/850 from mailed packet)

                No Third Party credit reporting agency pulled. (Chex/ARS/IDA/etc)

        4.  American Express Blue Cash Everyday -- Approved for $1000.00 (Experian FICO Score@ 08/04/2014 - 691/850 from mailed packet)

             * Key factors: Length of time accounts have been established, proportion of loan balances to loan amounts too high, too many inquiries last 12 months, length

                of time revolving accounts have been established

                No Third Party credit reporting agency pulled. (Chex/ARS/IDA/etc)

        5. USBank FlexPerks Travel Rewards VISA Signature -- Declined, Then Approved After Verification. Approved for $5000.00

             Will add information soon.

           Declines:

                * I believe I received a lot of denials here due to inquiry sensitivity and third party credit reporting agencies being pulled. There are many third party credit reporting agencies that you should be aware of and be proactive in freezing them.

                * As of January 2014 here are all of them: CFPB - Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies List

        1. Capial One Quicksilver -- Declined (called, wanted another hard for Quicksilver One; I refused -- I own Secured Credit Card $500 6 month history)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        2. Citibank Simplicity -- Declined (still need to call)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        3. Wells Fargo Cash Back -- Declined (9 month banking relationship + $500 Secured Card - 6 months old)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        4. Sallie Mae Mastercard (Barclay) -- Declined (asked about last 3 years of work history, too short credit history is reason, they asked about other LOC)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        5. Barclay Rewards Mastercard -- Declined (asked about last 3 years of work history, too short credit history is reason, they asked about other LOC)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        6. Bank of America Cash Rewards -- Declined (application status)

            Awaiting mailed denial letter.

        All the scores in my signature are from two days ago along with the inquiries. I am afraid to know how many inquiries I have acquired today but I plan on gardening for a long time now, probably two years from this date lol. We'll see if I get any of the ones under review but after getting the big cards I wanted; I am doubtful but you never know.
