Got 7-10 days notice. My card has a balance of 130/1000 right now, but it was paid in full the past 2 statements. Sigh..

In my case this has happened only when I requested CLI before due time.

I use to have an Amex Gold and decided I wasn't using it enough to justify the AF so I cancelled it and got the Amex Blue. I always PIF and never carry a balance and after the 61 Day period I went for the 3X CLI. I too got the 7-10 day message and received the letter saying it was declined. Oh well, Im still happy with my current CL. Good luck.

Guess I better hold of on applying for the PRG...

I got the message when they needed to do an income verification. OP needs to wait it out or call to determine why.

Why would you even want the PRG? If it is just to have it in your wallet then that does not make sound financial sense. If you travel alot then I can understand that.

Sign up bonus. I'm closing mine today to avoid AF and with it backdated to 1998 it will continue to report 10 years.
