I got an inquiry alert in my email just now, so I lon-on to myfico. I was expecting to see a hit for the inquiry with a score drop by a couple of points. Nope. Ex. went up 11 points? That was a complete surprise.

Contrary to whats always expected i experience the same thing when approved for new cards. Score goes UP not down. Seems some other factors account for such results but beats me exactly what they are. The Mysterious MyFico Affect
