Approval for Walmart card!

This is probably not a big deal to most people but I just got approved for a 500.00 walmart card.  I am just beginning to rebuild my credit and my score is only between 550-560. I only have one open credit card and i only have like 40.00 in available as of my last statement. I hadnt planned on trying for a new card until i paid it off. I am so happy this will be a big help in improving my available credit. Yay!!!!

Wahoo!! When I started rebuilding, walmart was one of my first cards. I then app shopped GEMB cards and got my amazon store card and old navy. If you are looking to build your portfolio, I would recommend doing the same!

Re: Approval for Walmart card!

Congrats, for sure. And it doesn't matter if it would be a big deal or not for anybody else. It only matters that it's a big deal to YOU. :smileyhappy:

That's one of the things I like about the MyFico forums; there's a great sense that we're all in this together, that we all had to start somewhere, that most all of us have overcome problems, that every victory, small or large, deserves celebrating.
