I mostly just lurk as do most. I have a 7 year old BK as of this month. I have perfect payments since the BK and bought a new house 2 years agao at 3.25% My current cards are: NFCU Cash Rewards 10K (Balance $1,400), Flagship $7,500 (Balance $6,000) Discover $600( Balance 0), 2 CAP Quiksilver cards $2,500 & $1,500 (Balance 0) Barclays Rewards $1,900 (Balance 0), US Bank 1-2-3 Rewards $2,500 (Balance 0), USNMFCU $1,500 (Balance 0).
Scores across the board are EX698, TU 697, EQ 687
I figured since US Bank trusted me last year I would app for the FlexPerks AMEX card. Was approved for $5000. I asked if I could transfer the credit line from my 1-2-3 rewards card over and was told yes. I held off from doing this though. Might do it once the card comes is. Not sure yet.
Feeling Lucky I walked into US New Mexico Federal Cerdit Union and appiled for there top card. 6.9% 1 point for every dollar spent. Only wanted this card to transfer the balance off my Navy Card. Apporved for $7,500 with no BT Fee.
Tried Barclay's next. Approved for the Apple card $1,500. Only got this because I need to by a new apple product.
Walmart sent me a pre-approval in the mail, so I took them up on it. Approved $1,200
This last one has me pumped though. Yes I've read everything on how AMEX looks at BK's. I was going to app for a charge card but figured why not try atleast for the everyday card. Might aswell try. I was approved with a CL of $500. I didn't really care about the $500 as it's the lowest out of everything I have, but just the fact that they approved me. I was shocked!!!
