I have never had a credit card. Recently got a quicksilver with a $300 limit. Let my score rise and then prequal for chase freedom with $1200 limit. Thanx ladies and gents!
Congrats!

Congrats!
Did you have any type of credit before QS approval? How long did you have the QS before applying for Freedom? Thanks!
Congrats, also I'd suggest considering the Chase Sapphire card next in a few months. Freedom+CS = superior with the Ultimate Rewards.
But for now, congratulations and enjoy your new card and all the benefits that come with it.

OP probably should wait at least six months (more likely a year) before going for CSP. The file is very young and since the current credit lines the banks are giving out are on the low side I don't think chase will issue a 5k line yet, but after a year of positive activity OP will be in good shape.

QS my fico EQ was 622; have student loans in deferment and two baddies at the time from 2009; 5/2013. I have improved my score by fixing lots of errors. Chase pulled TU which was 714 at the time. I had the quicksilver for about 3 months
