yesterday i finally hit 6 months credit history reported on my Experian report
and gave it a shot and was instantly approved.
2 days ago I also got my first TU Walmart FICO and was on 714
my next step is buying a car. Will I be ok on a car loan in 2 months?

That's awesome congratulations!
Car loans are a totally different animal... they usually use an auto enhanced FICO, rather than a regular FICO. You would probably get a better rate from a credit union based off of your real FICO than your auto enhanced one, unless you have some installment history on your report (student loans don't typically count).

Again, Congrats on the approval, and good luck!
with only 6 months of credit history you got a Amex gold??great job! did you have any AU on your report?

CongratCongrat
I wasn't AU never
just started my credit 6 months ago
i joined DCU credit union already so I'm wondering
if I could get in 2 months a loan with them?
what is considered a good rate ?
DCU has very high member reviews for their Auto Loans program, and their rates are at 1.99%, which are great!
I think you should use them for your auto needs.
pat0812,
What are you stats and what CRA did they use? I want to get my foot in the door with Amex and don't know what charge card I should app for yet.
