I once got a 7-10 day letter for the Amercan Kennel card and when I called they just wanted to verify the name of my mortgage and home address. 5 minutes later, APPROVED.

I knew I was taking a gamble. We bought some merchandise for the business earlier this month and the Am Ex balance is at 45%.  I know some lenders see 6 new accounts in 3 months. Was not going to app till June or July even though I've paid it down under 30% that won't show for 2 weeks.

I'll give them a call. Got the Comenity recon number written down.

CREDO has been soft pulling my reports for a few Months.

Not too long ago, I received an invitation to apply for this card I threw the application away.  I don't remember if it said pre-approved or pre-qualified.

That's amazing, Balboa! This card has been on my radar for quite some time. While everyone else ia panting for a Sallie Mae or a Prestige, I want a Credo! LOL

@Anonymous, Congrats on your new Credo Visa!!  I got this card too, the same day as my CapOne Quicksilver from a pre-approval app they sent me in the mail.  Although, I didn't get your nice SL of 7500 nor your interest rate of 19.99%.  They approved me for 5k@24.99  However, upon registering and signing in, they offered me a BT for a year @ 0% and then 15.99 for the remaining balance.

I did not apply cause I have no use for it and I know for sure, I will not be using this card.

I only apply for the card that I will use.

Comenity told me I have to wait for the 7-10 day letter before I can talk to someone. That it was too soon. We'll see. I don't know how flexible they are with recons and I had put a lot of usage on my Am Ex last month for business so my big payments, cli's and new BBVA card won't show till for about 4 weeks.
