Approved for Costco Amex with high utilization %

Just wanted to share that I was approved today for the Costco Amex Card today while in store. My utilization was 65% but zero balances on all 3 other amex cards. ( I keep them low as they did a CLD without a phone call or other notification due to 2 cash advances) My opening line of credit was only $1200 but will be sufficient seeing how this is my 4th Amex Card. Congratulations! And remember you can ask for a 3x CLI after 61-days from account opening. Of course, if you have already utilized a CLI on any of your other Amex cards in the last 6 months, you will need to wait until 6 months from your last CLI.

I had 7 inquires that were 12-15 months old. I actually just pulled experian and was shocked to see that a collection re- appeared after beind deleted 2 years ago. It is due to drop off in 4 months so it pry had low impact.
