Congrats on the approval...hope you get more success in CLI than me ....LOL
Congrats!!
(Discover will always have my loyalty. They were my first prime card and started me with a $6,500 limit! My highest limit at that point was only $500(FPB) which I cancelled as soon as I was approved for Discover It . It's safe to say I was extremely suprised. After 6 months of having the IT card, I got an email saying "Congratulations! Your credit limit has increased to $8,500" ...They auto CLI'd me $2000!!!!! Unreal.. Since getting my discover card, I have been approved for Home Depot ($4,000 limit), Bank Americard ($900 limit after graduating from Secured $400), AMEX Green (NPSL) and Care Credit ($12,900 limit). They took a chance on me and paved the way to great credit.

Congrats on your approval and great starting limit.
I just checked my updated reports on USAA and was surprised to see that Discover pulled Experian and Equifax. I thought they usually pulled TU. Last time applied they only pulled TU.
I guess. I must have been borderline for the to pull 2 CB,s. Experian is actually my best score but I have 10 inq in the last year on there only had 3 on EQ. Im kind of surprised they didn't ask me about the inquiries on EX.
I think they pull equifax for most part, but if you are borderline like i was they double pulled. They didn't like the paid charge off from 2007 :-(

I had applied for a Discover IT back in November of last year and I was denied because of an old charge off from First Premier from 2008. That is the only baddie on my profile and the CSR had said they liked what they see on my report and that I have managed my credit well the last 6 years but they denied anyways.
The charge off hit 5 years last week so I had a good feeling if I applied again I would get approved this time. Went ahead and applied this morning and I was approved with a $1500 limit. Not as high as I would like but happy to get my second prime card after US bank Platinum in August.
My TU Fico was 671, AAoA is 3 years, 9 years of history. I had 3 inquiries on TU, 27% Util.
Now that I have 2 prime cards I'm going to close my 3 secured cards tomorrow.
How long do you have to wait to request a. CLI with Discover? I will be using this card for the 5% categories and PIF every month.
Congrats! Good card to use.
Congrats!
