Approved for Discover It!

Hello everyone I made a thread a couple weeks ago asking for advice about my current situation on what to apply for.

I received some really great advice but chose to hold off applying until my latest payment had reported and I am glad I did!

I use the discover scoreboard and did their new pre approval, before I only received a secured card offer. After the payment cycle and jump in credit I now was preapproved for two discover cards with solid apr of 18.99%.  According to this thread linked below I had great odds for an approval so I bit the bullet and decided to use a HP.

I was approved right away!!! With a $6,000 SL!!! this is my first high SL and I am beyond stoked I plan to be very catious with the card as to not overextend myself and continue to grow my credit but I couldn't be happier! So far none of reports are showing an additional HP so there may be something to the scoreboard factoring into the approval. I want to thank everyone here for providing all of the information you do. I ran into issues when I was younger and was able to get everything sqaured away a year ago and following all of the information found here has really changed what I thought was possible. I don't have alot of people in my life that can give good advice or even have the type of credit I do now so this forum has been a massive source of information for me so thank you to everyone who contributes here cheers!

Thanks alot! I never thought I would get such a great SL with only one CC from capital one with a $500 limit! I am beyond stoked and cannot wait to get this reported on my report so I can shop for my 3rd card so I can start Gardening!

Thanks alot! This community has a ton of great info and has helped guide my rebuild I have started recommending some of my friends to do their research as the information here is second to none! Still no HP yet I will update if I get one but it would be great to have this new account with no additional Hp so I can use my 3rd HP on that amex card I have been eyeing!

Congrats to you aswell! Pretty stoked that I am not showing an additional HP aswell usually they show right after I app so I only have 2 HP and can't wait to report this new card and use my 3rd HP for that amex! Then I can start Gardening to keep my HP low
