I don't want to be a negative Ned on your approval thread, but maybe you shouldve done a little more research on the card before you applied if you're having to ask questions like allowable cash advances.

The benefits of the card was why I applied for it. But this was just a question just popped up, not a big deal.

I would HIGHLY not suggest doing a cash advance on this type of card as it's a 'Charge Card'. NOT a true credit card. You should always PIF on the AMEX PRG if you want to build a good relationship with AMEX. Just my 2 cents. If you need cash that bad, apply for a PLOC at a CU if you are member of one.

Thanks for the warning.

But I read on their website that to be able to do a cash advance, I have to sign up for it and link my bank account to be able to do cash advances. 

Then I would receive a pin etc..

So it would badically act as a debit card? Something like that.
