This weekend I tried my hand in applying for some credit cards. I tried old navy, walmart, target childerns place and best buy. I was approved by Old navy CL-300, Walmart -$150, Target was denied, Childerns placed-Denied, Best buy- $500. I was wondering what is the best way to increase the limits?
Without knowing your file info, it would be hard for us to answer that with specfics.
If you have a thin file, then gardening and letting these new accounts age (and making sure to ask for CLI every 4 months with the GE backed cards) will be the best way to see them grow.
If you have a larger file, but some bad history, then try and open a Secured card and put as much money as you can on it, and sometimes (YMMV) companies will match your highest established CL.

Out if the card you mentioned, I think wal-mart would be your best bet. I would sign up for paperless statement and get free FICO TU08 score.
I would use the card for gas 15cents off per gallon at murphy station. I would PIF do that for 4 months, then call u/w for increase.
Don't ever be late with them. Think of it this way, pay it off before statement cut.. like that you will never be late.
