Congrats to you. Great looking card! I would get a Chicago Bulls card but I'm gardening and don't like annual fees without justifiable benefit. Nor am I a fan of Compass. Go Spurs!!!

Been a good 3 days.

Saturday- Amex Blue Cash Everyday-$2000

Sunday-Cap 1 Venture One Card-not sure limit yet; website was messing up at the time.  Got congratulations message, however

Monday-BBVA Compass Bank NBA Amex-$9000

No more apps till next year.  Need to get score about 720 and utilization  under 10%.

What is your secret with Barclay?  They seem to hate me.  Have USAA Platinum Visa.  Good payment history since rebuilding, but continue to get turned down.

What are Barclays denial reasons? No secret. Started with Rewards MasterCard after 2 denials. And just built from there. Showed heavy usage and pif. Slowly got better cards with them after I proved myself.

Applied in January.  I had a Verizon bill that fell off at the beginning of this month, so I thought I would reapply; have not gotten rejection letter yet.  No success at recon.  Only derogatory is a couple 30 day lates, but nothing since 2013.  Perfect payment history since then. Only other card I would like to have is Discover, but satisfied for now.  Maybe this time next year.  Hoping to get mortgage June 2016, so app spree is over with.  I don't think life will end if I don't get a Barclay.

This card applies mostly to big NBA fans. The signup bonus pays the first two years AF then you get $20 off every $100 you spend at nba.com which means ill be saving big time! I buy at least $1k a year in jerseys and sports stuff which means I'll save roughly $200 a year just with that discount, not to mention I get 3x points on top of that there plus 3x points every ticket I buy which is around 3 or 4 a month plus beer and whatever else I buy at the games. This card is going to save me big $$$. But if you aren't a big fan then I can see how it wont be for certain people. I'll use it alot

Edit: My entire family are big fans so I buy them all, and myself alot of NBA stuff and tickets
