BCE Approved with 9 months credit history!

OK I know I JUST posted about my HHonors CLI...and since I was feeling good about that I decided to app for the BCE for the heck of it since a denial would have just been a soft pull.  I was approved!!  This helps my AAOA a little bit since it will show on my credit report as my oldest card...since my Cap1 was opened in April 2012 and this will report as January 2012 Smiley Happy

 

So thrilled!

I keep forgetting that Amex backdates! Congrats! I can't wait to get another account from them myself! Do you know what your limit, apr, and scores are? It helps other members gain insight into approval.

No, I don't know those yet.  I haven't called in to find out...maybe I'll do that Wednesday or Thursday.  I'm guessing $2000 and around 19-20% apr since that's what they gave me for the HHonors card a couple months ago.  My Experian was 709 when I got approved for HHonors but I've had 2 inq's since then so it's probably sitting at 700 now (703 on CreditSesame).

My FICO on Exp is like 720-740 but my TU was 696 when I got my initial $3500 BCE!

Keep up the good work and HALT on the apping or what not until you get your 3xcli!!!!

Well it's 4k but I know what you're saying! BCE was my goal card for 2013 so getting it this early in the year is great.  My next goal is to convince Chase to CLI me this summer once my Amazon card hits 6 months!  I love my little Amazon card but the limit is pretty awful.  I'll be gardening for a while in order to increase my chances for that.
