BOA $6,000 Credit Limit Increase- WOO HOO!!

I read in the forum that BOA was being very friendly with their CLIs and I was intrigued!

I decided to go to my online account and hit the LUV button.

That darn "approval wheel" whirled round and round for what seemed like forever....and came back with..."We need to review more and will let you know within 7-10 days". 

I immediately thought to myself "Oh well, denial" and headed to bed.

Well alas! I woke up this morning and was running around town doing errands and decided to check my email. The first email I saw was "Bank of America: Confirmation Of Your Credit Limit Increase"! I looked twice to make sure I was reading it correctly (especially after last night's not so instant approval) and sure enough, I had been approved!!

From 2K to 8K in 3 months!!

CCs- All paid on time, no lates (current utilization at 10% until bills cut, then pay down to 0%, wash, rinse, repeat)

No baddies, just 2 late pays from 3 yrs ago.

As for BOA, I always let it report with a small balance (but make two to three payments a billing cycle to 0).
