Hi all... I am so excited I got an increase with BOA after 5-7 decline online.. I started with BOA secured visa $ 500 January 2008 .. after it seems like eternity they switched it to un secured and gave me $1000 limit August of 2012 ( Automatically ) .. from 2008 to 2012 I called aver 6 months inquiring for increase.. sometimes they do a hard pull sometimes they do not NEVER APPROVED ( Insufficient credit history )
October 2012 .. During hurricane Sandy I called and asked for another increase and they granted me one $ 1k ( due to my location increases were being offered which prompted me to call) ..
August 2013 I applied for $ 1k increase and was denied .. Saturday I went ahead and completed the online increase again.. Got the 5-7 day message .. Waited until Monday afternoon.. Called the recon# 1.866.506.5068 that I found on this forum ( THANK YOU ).. got an Analyst .. she asked " Why do you want an increase on your card " I replied .. " a cushion for the holidays, to increase my utilization and all my other CC gave me an increase as well!! " .. She put me on hold for 7/8 minutes came back said her system needs to be re-booted she will forward my info to another analyst and transfer me to them. I politely advised her my break was over and she interrupted me and said no problem I will complete this when my computer reboots and you can call back and check your balance !! Called back checked my balance and was approved for the $ 2k limit bringing my total to $ 4k.. I worked hard for that limit !!
