So back in December I had 1 barclay apple financing card with CL of 1300. I paid a lot of my debt off and my scores increased quite a bit. I was then approved for a Salle Mae card 2500 cL, received a CLI on my apple financing card to 5000, and I then applied a couple of weeks ago for the US airways. I received a 1000 cl. kind of disappointed. I paid my annual fee and made a second payment on another charge I made. Today I filled out the CLI section available for the card. I asked for a 4000 CLI to make it a 5000 card. It said that I would hear from them within 48 hours.
About 2 hours later while I was out to dinner, I received a phone call from barclays, from a very pleasant gal. She asked me if I had time to talk, and said that she had received my request for the credit line increased on my us airways card. I said yes I had requested the increase because for a family of 4 I wouldn't be able to get enough tickets on a 1000 credit line. She said that she had approved me and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I thanked her very much. I checked my account online and my new limit was 5000.
