Barclay rewards MC approval

Well I got a scary 7-10 day email yesterday and this morning I got an email saying I was approved so I called the automated account number and was granted a $1300 limit. Is this what they ususally start you off with? I thought it would be more considering my other cards.

Congrats on the approval!  Don't know your credit profile or other cards but starting limits are usually based on profile with Barclays.

On monday call the backdoor number and recon your starting limit with a credit analyst.. Ask them to match your highest limit on another card, they usually will.

Citi $8k, Chase freedom $3k, Cap1 $3k, Security Service FCU $2k,  Discover $1k <2 weeks ago, I also have other store cards ranging from $4.3k to $700

My fico Scores recently jumped to 670-678, I know my TU is the highest

i think there are 2 versions of BRM (average credit and excellent credit)

average credit

APR for Purchases

24.99% variable APR

excellent credit

18 Months	purchases	18 months	BT
0%	14.99% or 19.99%* Variable	0%	14.99% or 19.99%* Variable

i'm sure the starting limits vary between them.
