Barclays Just Made Me Do The Snoopy Dance!!!

How often does Barclay auto-increase? I've had two, 5 months after approval then 5 months after that. Is there a point when they stop and have to be initiated with a HP?

I applied for another Barclay card in July 2013 and was denied due to too many recent account openings.  I called Barclays in September and told them that I was considering closing my account because of the low credit line.  The rep said that I could request a CLI (month 5 of account).  I asked would it be a hardpull and she said no.  I didn't want to ask for too much so I asked to go from $950 to $1,500.  Approved.  The interesting thing is there was no hard pull on any of my reports.  I can't check soft pulls on TU, but I can see them on Experian and Equifax.  There was no soft pull on EQ or EX, so maybe it was a soft pull on TU or they used that hard pull from July.

Join creditkarma they do the credit on TU and tell you the hard pulls  but not soft. They update once a week. Congrats!

Congrats on the auto-LUV!  Those balance transfer checks will keep coming.  I think they sent me some 2x/month, but what the heck would I transfer with a $750 limit haha.

I've read a few posts that said a requested CLI is a HP. Maybe that has changed?

I was getting balance transfer checks every month but only used them once the beginning of the Summer. Received them for months, then they stopped. And then I wanted to use one but I was a few days to late.  The last time I received an increase I also received a letter letting me know what my new CL was and that envelope included checks. 

Wondering if I'll see another increase 5 months from now (March).
