Today was a great day, after a bad weekend! I've never been so happy for a Monday. Haha. I opened this card in July of 2013. It was my first card, and it was a secured card with a credit line of $300 and APR of 20.24%. It became unsecured in February, no CLI, or APR reduction. In July of this year, I requested this card to be increased to $2,000 and it was instantly declined. I called the backdoor number and after manual review, she increased to $2,000 and I PC'd to Cash Rewards. With our business growing very quickly, we decided to go for another credit line increase to $10k on Saturday night. Let me tell you, I'll never request another CLI on a weekend. Haha. It wasn't automatic approval or decline, just a message that it needed to be reviewed. Great! So, I had to wait until today to call the backdoor number. Well, after manual review, it was approved! I immediately called back and requested upgrade to Visa signature, which was also approved. =). I thought I was pushing my luck, but what's the worst she could say... I asked for a reduction in my APR... she put me on hold for what felt like an hour, then she came back and thanked for always paying on time and in full, and she reduced my APR from 20.24% to FREAKING 16.99%!!! Amazing. Wonderful day!!!
(Side note, pruning advice needed, based on the cards in my sig, which would you get rid of or SD? Not at all worried about utilization. Currently sitting at barely 1% and we don't carry balances, we always PIF.)
Also had the annual fee removed in July. =D.
Congrats! on the BofA success today and thanks for sharing

Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
CONGRATS on your success with BofA, very impressive!!!
Awesome! I love how great BofA is with unsecuring and upgrading their secured cards. I did the exact same thing and ended up with a Visa Signature Travel Rewards card. Only thing I didn't try was an apr reduction... hmm I'm going to have to try that. Congratulations on all your success! Bank of America is amazing
