Sometimes when you get a new card with BofA the "request credit limit increase" button shows up online (allowing some to double-dip their HP). It did this for my Merrill+ but decided not to test the waters. It showed up for my new PR card today so I swung by the bank to ask them, do we know if this is a viable option since it was just opened or is it a "the system hasn't fully updated yet" moment...
The banker said "only one real way to find out!" lol so we logged on to my online account and went for it so I could show him what I was referring to (their system did not show anything about a CLI option on this card).
Instant CLI to $22,000 (from $5,000). We checked my Cash Rewards and Merrill+ and both of those remain in tact so my BofA exposure just increated another $17,000 - I thought the system might just pull the money from another card, specifically Merrill, but my increase was equal to 100% of my Merrill limit
Merrill+ $17,000
Cash Rewards $3,700
Premium Rewards $22,000
No HP - looks like it just hit the one they just pulled last week, which was odd because usually CLI's with BofA are TU for me, and this most recent approval was with EX. None the less, whatever mad-house they're running down there, get down there and get your slice of the pie!!

Congratulations CIC your on a roll!...Same exact thing I did with my Merril+ even before activating it. Request Credit Line Increase button appeared and they didn’t have to ask me twice to mash it, went from a $10k SL to $17k all within a week all using the same hp. Got to love BOA

BofA is definitely getting cozy with me! I almost did it on my Merrill after seeing your previous post but chickened out. Once I saw this one pop up I just had to take the plunge, glad I did too!
