I did automatic CLI requests on all my GE accounts today and was approved for all! I am super excited!
Lowes - was $1500, now $5500... nice jump!
JCP was $200, now $1700
Walmart was $2500, now $3200
Amazon was $1700, now $2300
Chevron was $900, now $1500
I called Target and they gave me some crap about having to formally submit, blah, blah, blah. I love shopping at Target but with only a $500CL, this account shoots my UTI way up when I use it.
I also did my BofA formally secured from $500 to now $1000. Good, but I was a bit disappointed, I tried for $2500 and got the 7-10 day letter notice. Ugh.
These are all store cards and the BofA is my only "real" CC. Any advice on what real credit card I should try for? I am feeling pretty good on the heels of these CLI's and am ready to go for a good card with any luck.

congrats on the GE luv!!!! and in regards to the BofA 7-10 letter doesnt mean a denial. Keep checking your account every hour or so. It has happened many times with my request that i would get the same pending message and then a few hours later the new limit would be updated. You can also call the analyst right away and have them manually give you a decision. Good luck and keep us posted.
Nice CLI run
As soon as these all update with the CRAs I would go for Discover It & Chase Freedom

I LUV THESE!
Really Productive CLI sweep!!!! across the board on those!
Don't feel alone on that RedCard. I called them consistently over the stretch of having that gutter dweller card of theirs, way over a year so far with (some) useage and PIF. They don't budge on customer initiated CLI but they softed my reports a couple months ago. Result? Nada. nothing, stuck at $500 Limit, probably indefinitely since they were breached. Lucky i didn't get victimized like so many others have.
Problem with them is that some RedCard holders have had success getting better limits after closing then reapplying again but why have to take another HP?
Congrats! again on your CLI's! Nice!
Congrats. Treat BOA well and you'll be rewarded. I have the Alaskan airlines card it started at $5000.00 a year ago and its now grown to $20,000.
CONGRATS on your CLI's!!!

This is so true. It's like BoA took notes from credit unions. They have been so giving on CLIs and apprvals lately. I have $20k between 2 BoA cards, a year ago those limits were only $3700 total. ($1200 for one and $2.5k for my newest one that isn't a year old)
congrats

IMHO Target Red Card is one of the biggest waste of wallet space out there. The benefits are meh (5% off; free shipping; extra time to return items). And with your scores, a $500 CL is basically useless.
Think about apping for the Sallie Mae card (5% back on groceries/gas up to $250/month; 1% after that + 5% back $750/month at Amazon and other bookstores). They count Target/Walmart as "groceries", so you're basically get the benefit of the Red Card up to $250, and you have a fully functioning card with all the other benefits.
