I'm confused. Is the CSP a NPSL card or a card that has a limit? Just read the following on creditcardforum:
NO PRE-SET LIMIT– There's no preset limit, giving you ultimate flexibility with your spending.
NPSL (no pre-set limit) means that if you should charge more than your revolving limit, transactions will be approved/denied on a case-by-case basis. However, even if they approve charges that allow your balance to exceed your limit, you will not be allowed to carry a balance greater than your limit...hence why it is frequently more eloquently referred to as your revolving limit for NPSL cards. You get assigned a limit...it's just a limit they they may let you exceed as long as you pay it back during your grace period.
Congratulations, OP!...be prepared for everyone to comment on it...
The card has a limit, but since its a signature card you are allowed to go over the limit, but any amount over the limit is due on your next statement plus the normal minimum payment.
Big congrats! Once your new 5k CSP reports (or maybe wait 6 months or so), consider app'ing for a Discover It card. You can get $50 with a referral.
