Cap One Auto CLI

I made my first 5 payments and got a CLI today $500 to $750 when my 6th statement cut for my 2nd QS card as part of the Credit Steps program....

Nothing to get too excited about but I'll take it.

Now hopefully I'll start getting some love from GE over the coming months... all those cards are at their 4th statements.

Congrats on the CLI. Don't forget to use the CLI button after 4th statement posts for GECRB. For even better results call GECRB credit solutions in back door numbers at top of credit card page. Also mark the date of last CLI from Cap1 and wait 6 months and push CLI it's a soft pull. Thanks for sharing.

What does GECRB stand for? Also, I had my Capital One for 9 months, and then asked for a CLI...I never got one automatically.....

Yeah that's my plan with Cap One.... every 6 months to request a CLI... I've already been told that they pretty much won't give you one unless it's been 6 months since your last CLI.  My $1500 QS card is at statement 9 with my last increase at statement 6... this increase today was at statement 6 for my other QS card as well.

As far as GECRB I wasted a month with Walmart because my statement cut with a 0 balance... little did I know they don't generate statements with a 0 balance.  I called Credit Solutions and was denied an increase....  the first 3 months my statement cut on 28th or 29th... I made a purchase this month on 25th thinking it would post in time but instead my statement date was 26th before transaction posted.

Lesson learned... walmart is slow to post transactions and I will not waste a month again.  Once the 4th statements generate on my other GE cards I will request increases... all except Care Credit... they HP and I'm gardening.
