Got my call today..........

PC was successful from regular Platinum to Cash Reward (Green card). The best part:

- It's now a World MC; my first World MC. I only have Visa Sigs

- No AF

Does Cap One report the CL on thier World MC?

I'm sooooo excited !!!!!

Told ya!  :smileyhappy:

My Visa Siggy reports limit - not sure on the MC.

I'm relieved at least. Double whammy. A CLI and a PC to one of their best cards with a World MC

It really is a great card. I don't care how much everyone rips on Cap1, I plan to keep my cash rewards forever :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Cap One CLI Success !

I have a new found 'love' for them now. And to think I nearly closed this card back in February but decided to pay the AF and hope I could get a CLI.

Glad I kept it open now the card has no AF too :smileyhappy:

Re: Cap One CLI + PC Success !!!!

So my account name stayed 'Platinum Mastercard' but below, I have a link now to 'Explore rewards'. Is that normal?

There is no doubt that Capital One has a good prime line-up however, most of its 'reputational' damage comes from their builder card series which is probably why we so much negative publicity around the Cap1 name; Cap1 builder cards tend not to grow with the cardholder as their scores or situations improve. Yes, there are exceptions to every rule, but in general, the cards will not graduate to a Cap1 prime card (i.e. Venture, etc...).
