I've had good luck in two months, too.
I was approved for the Capital One QuicksilverOne card on August 1 with a $500 credit limit and August 27th received an email talking about the Credit Steps program & how if I make my first five monthly payments on time I can increase my current credit line from $500 to $750. & have access to the new line no later than February 2016. BUT, On October 9, I decided to hit the "luv button" and Congratulations, you've been approved for a $1,500 credit line! Approved Increase + $1,000" Remember I have barely had the card 2 months.
