So while in the garden decided to upgrade my builder Capone platinum and Macy's card. Capone was at the 6 month mark after a credit steps from $750 to $1250 increase and exactly one year since opening. So I asked for a rewards card through chat - CS rep was very helpful and informed me that I was qualified for an upgrade offer to quicksilver card with 1.5% cash back. Immediately after getting off the phone I requested a cli online on my capital on account which granted me a $500 increase bring it to a $1750 total. I was really debating closing this card since its was a low limit card but I will hold on to it for utl purposes.
Feeling lucky, I called up Macy's and requested a cli on the store account. Lady assured me it would be a soft pull. I have had this account for 4 months now with an initial limit of $800 on the store side and $3000 on the Amex. I asked for $2000 total and she countered with $700 increase, I took it! LOL.
