I just logged into my Cap1 account and found out they gave me an auto cli of 5K. This brings me up to $6300 cl.
All I can say is WOW. Unexpected for sure. A couple of months ago they turned me down because it had not been 6mos since my last increase. (credit steps)
My card will turn one yrs old on March 4 and was going to ask again at that time, but they beat me to it. Two days ago Amex gave me a 3X bump to 6K and now Cap1 follows suit. I might have a lttle trouble falling a sleep tonight.
Question??? Does anyone know if my clock has been reset to 6mos again...wondering since I didn't request the limit that they gave.

Congrat,
Out of curiosity, is your card a Venture or Quicksilver?

From another curious reader.
With your scores, why are you still using a QS1? I'm not sure how it reports but believe it is actually a sub-prime card and you surely nqualify for the QS or Venture of higher.
Why not call or chat and ask them what you can PC this card for???

No doubt. Contacting them about an upgrade to lose the account fee is my next step. I'm still a little high from the increase and wasn't even thinking of that yet.
