Opened my Capital One secured card in May of this year for the $49 down $200 limit, logged in this morning to see my limit had been increased to $500!! Really excited 😁
congrats!!
Thanks!
Congratulations! My husband also has the same card and he started out with 500, I think; after a while they did an automatic CLI and was approved for 850, so it's definitely a good card to have.
Congrats!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats! Jus t got the same secured card last month and the QS1 with a $300 limit. Hoping for the same or greater next year.
For the QS1 you'll have to wait 6 months of usage and payments. They will usually give you an automatic one. I hit 6 months with my qS1 in sept and I submitted a cli myself but was denied for less then 6 months a week later or so they upgraded my limit to 3500. Just a few days ago they upgraded the card to a Venture 1. I got the card originally in March 2014. Starting limit was 500. My experience with Cap 1 every 6 months request for one and they will usually award, anything less then 6 they say no to. My secured card was upgraded at about 4 months. I pay in full every month on that card and only charge my credit monitoring service on it which is 20 dollars.
benihect........Thanks so much for sharing your experiences so far. Looking at your siggy and reading your comments, I'm really encouraged. You're awesome! May I ask what your scores were when you were approved for your Chase cards? Were they instant or did you have to recon?
