Capital One CLI LUV Declined

Thank you LShawn08. After reading a bunch on this forum I'm starting to pick up the acronyms. Will update on my situation as it develops.

i have the Capital One Platinum card and started with $500 CL.  After 6 months it was increased to $3500.  I'd like to increase it to $5k so I went the EO route after reading all of the posts.  I got a call back from EO day after sending my email.  The rep was able to pc my card to the Quicksilver and I'm just waiting on the decision for the cli.

Today is my third day waiting for the EO to get back after their initial call...figers crossed...

After playing phone tag with the EO for a while, I was increased from $300 to $1000. That'll help out a bit.

The EO is awesome. I'll take a soft inq 6x cli anyday haha. I just can't figure out why they don't do this on the internet/with regular CSRs. Whatever though...in a way I'm really glad the system didn't auto approve me for a $500 cli or something.

CONGRATS on your $700 CLI!  I was given the exact same CLI last month on my Platinum.  I am going to request a PC the next time I request a CLI.

I gave up on Cap One and closed both of my accounts with them. Never missed a payment, alyways pay over the min payment. I have one card with them at $10K and one at $3K. I have been denied CLI everytime, which is odd. I have excellent credit, in fact last week I was approved for $15K by BOA and $17.5K for PNC credit cards.

Hi could you send me the EO info as well? I received the same vague denial statement so I'd like to give this a chance.

Call the EO and get help the regular customer service agents suck and know nothing.
