I've had the same issue. I requested a CLI on both my cap one cards (platinum master and cash rewards MasterCard). I got denied for both increases. Surprisingly today I received an email stating they raised my 500$ limit to $2000 on my platinum MasterCard.(only 2 weeks after I was denied for the increase) I've had this card since July of 2012. Hopefully my cash rewards card will follow suit shortly because this is the only one I use because of the cash back. I've had this card since March of 2013. Hopefully next week I get the same news!

Update!!! So I called capital one and told them that I wanted to make my platinum card my primary card of use but I wanted rewards in order to do so. She asked are you looking for cash back and I stared yes. So then my platinum card with the $2000 limit that I just received was upgraded to the quicksilver card in a matter of seconds!!! She stated I should be receiving my updated card in a few days in the mail. Hopefully I can upgrade my other quicksilver card and get a credit limit increase within the next couple of weeks
