CareCredit Approval..in shock but oh the benefits of a good score ;_)

i nearly fainted when CARECREDIT (GE) approved me yesterday for some work at my dentist office. I thought they would give me some toy credit line to play around with. NOPE, they busted out a big boy line on me with no APR if paid in full within 24 months. Another credit line reporting will surely bring that score into the mid 700s. I am ecstatic and double ecstatic to get some long needed work done before the holidays. Again, thanks to the forum and the constant support and advice...just a few months ago I couldn't even think of applying for anything without holding my head down.....so hang in there my sweeties!!!

*hugs and high fives all around*

started mid 500's. Disputed incorrect items and within a month or two my scores have skyrocketed and continue to do so
EQ: 755 as of 8/2013
TU: 700
Experian(or as I call them, the devil) I have no clue, they haven't released my report
Goal=801 across the board!!! Not too far from this, hoping to garden until Christmas 2013

Re: CareCredit Approval..in shock but oh the benefits of a good score ;_)

thats what im sayin!!!Whats the details!

I need to apply in the begging of the year and im scared!  I got denied back in August but I had no credit history at all. I'm hoping I will get approved this time. I just found out my FICO TU score is 700 so I HOPE they pull TU.  Do you know what they pulled for you? I heard they usually pull EQ but sometimes TU. I have SO many inq's on my EQ. lol. I hope they dont see that and nix me.

What's your CL????!  I need atleast 5k but I think im going to apply for more just incase lol.

Oh was that a tease?? 3K approval!!! I was hoping for 1500.

my score is knocking at 690 on TU because of recent inquiries, new accounts etc over the past months. I also have a small collection reporting on TU from about 2 years ago. BUT I have flawless, and i mean flawless payment history (I pay in full usually and/or down to minimal balances) on all cards and auto loans etc. Utilization is way low also until next month. I actually had to unlock it for them to run it-it was soooo worth it.  Oh, my walmart card I take ultra good care of, pay early and pay in full....its issued by GE. Maybe get that first???

I believe GE only pulls TU. I do hope this helps!!!!

Care credit is an awesome card to have. I apped for it and got 5k right off the top(and I was rebuilding at the time) and then 3 months later got a CLI to 10k. Then In july I toyed around with the idea of getting my boobs done Woman LOL so I requested another CLI and they bumped me to $13,200. I love this card!
